How it works

Scan. Score. Fix. That's it.

UNHIDE.ME turns the way AI search engines read your site into something readable, scored, and fixable. In three steps, not ten.

01

Scan

Paste any URL. The scanner walks the page, fetches robots.txt and llms.txt, parses structured data, and runs 100+ checks in under 30 seconds. No crawler install, no API key, no browser plugin.

02

Score

You get two scores, side by side. Traditional SEO — the stuff Google still cares about. GEO — the stuff ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini care about. Each one is explained, not just assigned.

03

Fix

Every issue comes with a ready-to-paste fix: the exact JSON block, the exact meta tag, the exact llms.txt section. No "consider adding schema markup" — instead, here is the schema markup for your site, copy it.

GEO vs SEO

Two games, same page.

Traditional SEO

Optimizes a page to rank on a results page. The user clicks through. Keywords, backlinks, Core Web Vitals, canonical tags. Still works. Still matters.

GEO

Optimizes a page to be inside the model's answer. The user doesn't click — the model quotes. llms.txt, clean schema, named authors, answer-first paragraphs, AI-bot crawl access.

What the scanner checks

llms.txt
Does the file exist? Does it follow the spec? Are the sections models actually look at (about, products, docs) present?
AI bot access
Are GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended allowed in robots.txt, or quietly blocked by an overly broad disallow?
Structured data
Organization, FAQ, HowTo, Article and Product schema — present, valid, and rich enough for a model to cite from.
E-E-A-T
Named author, dated pages, credentials, source citations, about page, contact info. The signals models weigh when deciding who to quote.
Content shape
Headings that map to questions, answer-first paragraphs, bullet lists, tables, definitions, numbers. What retrieval actually reaches for.
Brand visibility
What the models say when asked about you today, which competitors come up in the same answer, and whether that changes week over week.

Why this matters now

57%

of users start searches with AI assistants rather than a search engine.

40%

of AI-generated answers include citations back to external sites.
